lala Lists

I absolutely love music and when it comes to music my tastes are very wide and varied!
I thought it would be fun to go through each year of my life and list the top song that year.
(top songs of each year came from billboard.com)
So, here we go...

1984: Prince and The Revolution, When Doves Cry
1985: Wham! Careless Whisper
1986: Dionne & Friends, That's What Friends are For
(I know this song is cheesy but I like it)
1987: Bangles: Walk Like an Egyptian
(Seriously, such a fun and great song)
1988: George Michael, Faith
1989: Chicago, Look Away
(I LOVE Chicago)
1990: Wilson Phillips, Hold On
1991: Bryan Adams, Everything I do I do it For You
(sweet song)
1992: Boys II Men, End of the Road
1993: Whitney Houston, I Will Always Love You
(My cousin loved this song and would sing it at the top of her lungs!)
1994: Ace of Base, The Sign
(Sang this song over and over on the playground in grade school...
still love it)
1995: Coolio, Gangsta's Paradise
1996: Los del Rio, Macarena
(Oh my...)
1997: Elton John, Candle in the Wind
1998: Next, Too Close
1999: Cher, Believe
2000: Faith Hill, Breathe
2001: Lifehouse, Hanging by a Moment
(Such a classic High School song)
2002: Nickelback, How You Remind Me
2003: 50 Cent, In Da Club
2004: Usher, Yeah!
2005: Mariah Carey, We Belong Together
2006: Daniel Powter, Bad Day
2007: Beyonce, Irreplaceable
2008: Flo Rida, Low
2009: The Black Eyed Peas, Boom Boom Pow
2010: Ke$ha, Tik Tok
2011: Adele, Rolling in the Deep
2012: (as of today) Carly Rae Jepsen, Call Me Maybe

It is definitely an interesting mix of music, and wow has it changed through the years!
