Media Monday

Hello lovely bloggers.  I hope ya'll are having a great day.  For once I actually started my week off with an adequate amount of sleep so I feel ready to conquer this Monday!  Today is Media Monday and I am co-hosting with the amazing Rachel from Lists From the Heart.  Be sure to link up with us!

I always hate when summer rolls around and all the seasonal tv shows take a break.  I always face the question of, 'what am I suppose to watch now'?  It's not that I am hugely addicted to watching tv but I do like following certain shows throughout the fall/winter seasons.

So, today I decided to share my top five go-to Netflix tv shows for the summers.
(The five are not in any particular order).

one>>
ONE TREE HILL

This show follows a group of what begins out as high school kids, but later young adults throughout their everyday lives.  This show has great character development and amazing music!  Defintely one of my favorite tv shows of all time.

two>>
SCRUBS

For years my best friend tried to get me to watch this show and I refused because I am not a fan of anything medical related.  However, now I realized how dumb I was...this is a hilarious show.  Plus, you cannot lose watching Zach Braff all the time!

three>>
30 ROCK

I cannot get enough of this show.  I have seen every episode pratically a hundred time and it is still one of the funniest shows on television/netflix.  I love Tina Fey, she is such a great writer and actress.

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER

This is another show that I am continuously watching.  (If you haven't ever noticed, the name of my blog came partly from this show).  HIMYM has such a great combination of actors, and the writer has done a great job telling Ted's 'love story in reverse.'

five>>
BROTHER'S & SISTERS

Talking about great groups of actors, this show has an unbelieve set of actors.  I fell in love with this show instantly when it first aired and have not stopped watching it since.  Spoiler, they did take this show off air due to expenses so you will get mad that it does not finish the story of this crazy family.

I hope ya'll have a wonderful day!

  1. I love your choices! When I first saw your blog, I immediately wondered if you had named it after HIMYM. All of these, except 30 Rock are on my Netflix queue.

    1. Yep, I love HIMYM and the entire concept of telling a love story in reverse! However, I also love yellow and rain!

    2. I love HIMYM too! My favorite color is yellow, and while I normally like the rain, at the moment I don't. Tropical Storm Debby is just pouring buckets of rain on my state!

  2. Scrubs and HIMYM are essentially the best shows ever
