Today I am participating in a new link called Me, Myself, & I
with Breanna, Shane, Kristen, Danielle, & Amanda.
I am so excited about this link up party, I think it will be so much fun!
1.What is your biggest phobia?
Ok, so being completely honest, I have a phobia of quite a few things.
I am literally OCD {actually diagnosed} so any sort of disorder and chaos
scares me to death and makes me feel like I am going crazy. Have you ever seen
Monk...well that's pretty close to me but not quite to that extent.
Ataxophobia: Fear of disorder or untidiness {yes, I had to look that up}

Want to know what is really pathetic, I like that I am this way! :)
2. If you could relive any day of your life, what would it be and why?
Without a doubt I would relive a day in Disney World with my family when I was 10!
It was one of those perfect days that you can think back on and almost feel like you
are there all over again. My dad passed away shortly after that vacation, but the time we spent together on that particular day was so memorable. My dad did not like crowds or being around people at all (he had Huntington's Corea and that was part of the disease) but for me he was so strong and toughed the day out. I will never forget his love, strength, generosity, and kindness that day!

3. If you could choose to stay a certain age forever, what age would it be?
I am not so sure I would like to stay a certain age. I like the experience of growing older and seeing how the world changes around you. If I absolutely had to pick though it would probably be 25. It seems like the perfect age that you are old enough to do anything, but you haven't had to 100% grow up just yet (ok well, I am past 25 and really haven't 100% grown up yet ;)) Plus, you can still get away with saying you are in your early 20's. However, I have passed 25 awhile ago...
4. Which celebrity do you get mistaken for?

Me @ 25 |
Simply stated...none!
However, when I was much younger a friend told me I looked like Nikki Taylor
and that certainly made my day! I think she is incredibly beautiful!

Nikki Taylor is the second from the right. |
5. What songs are included on the soundtrack to your life?
My number one song that would be on my life soundtrack would have to be
Joshua Radin's Brand New Day! Sometimes life is tough but every day is a brand new day.
{This video is seriously funny, he takes having a rough day to an extreme! :)}

What a great post!! I loved how I got to know you so much through this. I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad. I think that was the toughest question- isn't it wonderful to have such strong memories to look back on? I might have a fear of losing my memory :/ Annnd I basically live in a pig stye- I could use some of your OCD!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up with us girl! I look forward to next month :)
I could easily have a fear of losing my memory as well...think about all you would lose. Memories are too precious.
DeleteYou are more then welcome to share some of my OCD...there is plenty! :)
I definitely have some OCD tendancies...but that makes me unique, right? Disney World sounds like a beautiful memory. You can be a kid there at any age.
ReplyDeleteIt is a much better life being unique!
DeleteI am officially diagnosed as Obsessive Compulsive as well so I feel your pain. People throw around that diagnoses so often that it seems that people forget it's a real thing that people suffer with and not just about having a clean house!! lol
ReplyDeleteI don't think people always realize how difficult it is to be OCD sometimes. It can really interfere with life and work! Especially when you have to take the time to count every stair you climb. haha
Deletestopping by from the link up! loved your post. newest follower.
ReplyDeletewould love it you'd stop by and do the same!

DeleteI just turned 26 and I have to agree that 25 is the best age ever! You can just be young and cool and hip and you don't have to be too responsible yet! Also I love that picture with the hersheys syrup. Too funny! Just found your blog and have loved getting to know you better. I'm excited to follow along!
